The album consists of 9 improvised pieces on classical guitar.

Music describes my experience since I moved to New York. It was a very intense period, with many changes on a personal level, ups and downs and surprises. A great transition process that completely changed me as a musician and as a person.

Each of the pieces describes a particular moment or sensation in this process.
The album begins with a free version of the zamba “A Balderrama”, followed by another free version of the traditional song “Subo” by Chivo Valladares, whose lyrics say: I'm going to the high hills to cry alone far away, to see if the pain stabs. With all this nostalgia, I introduce what is going to be my adventure through one of the most exciting, diverse and cultural cities in the world.
The following 6 tracks are completely original music and the album ends with another free version of Luna Tucumana.

The music is totally improvised and the style could be defined as experimental music with Latin American roots and elements of jazz.

The album title Alien is a term used in federal and state law to identify a foreign-born person who lives in the United States, has not been naturalized, and is still a citizen of a foreign country. In addition to that meaning, it also refers to an extraterrestrial being (probably the most common definition), which I found interesting because the music I make is not very easy to define or label, nor to find references. I also like the phonetics of the word alien and it is a universal term that is used in any language.
